AtmoShield™ Powder Coating – It is a textured finish that combats the environments harsh wear and tear. This finish provides a thicker, more scratch resistant coat for added protection.

SpectraShield™ Powder Coating – It is a Polyester finish in more than 180 colors offering durability, aesthetics, superior finish life and cost effectiveness.

Safety & Protection

The StormDefender is designed specifically with life safety in mind for safe room protection against tornadoes and hurricanes. It has been tested and certified to ICC 500-2020 and FEMA P-361, Third Edition code standards.

LED Light Kit – Provides a high-visible status indication for rolling doors and grilles.

Sensing Edge - Designed with a flexible black rubber TPE material, our sensing edge has two fins that form to variations in the floor on both the interior and exterior of your door or grille. Usage

Designed specifically with life safety in mind for safe room protection against tornadoes and hurricanes. 

Sizes

The minimum size is 3’ x 3’ and the maximum size is 14’ x 16’. The maximum width will vary between 13’10” and 14’ depending on the configuration. Please contact the factory if the maximum width is more than 13’10” to ensure the proper configuration.

Standard Materials and Finishes

Curtain – 12 gauge 4” face flat Steel slat with SpectraShield® powder coat in gray.

Guides – Steel with powder coating to match the curtain.

Bottom Bar – 12 gauge 4” face steel bottom bar with powder coat to match the curtain.
