Aesthetics

Hood and Operator Covers – Metal cover designed to shield the coil or operator from outdoor elements, debris, or to comply with OSHA or UL 325 safety standards.

Powder Coating Grilles – We offer a powder coat finish in over 180 colors for perimeter components like the aluminum bottom bar, hoods, wall angles, tube, and fascia. Please note that this finish is not available for the grille curtain itself.

Performance Upgrades

LED Light Kit – Provides a high-visible status indication for rolling doors and grilles.

Seismic Performance Validation – Project specific seismic calculations are available for all rolling doors that are mounted face of wall to steel or masonry. Seismic performance validation is per ASCE 7-05.

Vibration Isolators – Reduces the amount of vibration caused by operation of doors and grilles. 

SmartSync Diagnostic Tool - Use the SmartSync Diagnostic Tool with the APEX™ Pro controller for immediate diagnostics of doors or grilles. This tool enables field technicians and Electrical Support Specialists to easily diagnose, repair, and address issues with the APEX Pro controller, optimizing workflows and ensuring customers quickly resume operations.

Safety & Protection

Sensing Edge - Designed with a flexible black rubber TPE material, our sensing edge has two fins that form to variations in the floor on both the interior and exterior of your door or grille. Entrapment Protection Devices – Ensures that a motorized door or grille will not close on an object. If an object enters the opening, the entrapment protection device will stop the door or grille from closing and return to the fully open position. 

Photo Eye Sensors - The UL 325-2010 (NEMA 4X) compliant photo eye sensors feature momentary contact operation, which is particularly beneficial in high-traffic areas like parking garages. If the photo eye beam is interrupted before the door fully closes, it triggers an immediate halt to downward movement and reverses the door's direction to return to the fully open position.

Light Curtain - The 6-foot tall light curtain is seamlessly integrated into the guide construction. During operation, if an object crosses through the curtain beams, it triggers an instant stop to the downward movement of the door and reverses its direction to return to the open position.

Sizes

If your maximum height is less than or equal to 12’ your maximum width available is 30’. If your maximum height is led than or equal to 16’ your maximum width available is 28’.
